Attractions Directional Information
Away from the Strip, inside the city limits of Las Vegas or
in surrounding communities there are casinos and attractions
that are popular with locals and visitors alike. Henderson,
Summerlin, Boulder and Primm are just a few of the cities that
draw crowds for specific attractions, also north and west of
I-15 in the city of Las Vegas are several points of interest
that may tempt visitors and are well worth looking into.

2 Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge
- SR 160 and Bell Vista Rd. / located outside Pahrump, NV
/ 775-372-5435 / Free Rare and endangered plants
and animals including the infamous pupfish make their home
in Ash Meadows. Crystal Spring is open for viewing the little
pupfish but there is no swimming or fishing here! Nearby the
reservoir allows boating and swimming.
21 Air Force Thunderbirds

alert, the Air Force offers one hour tours to the public on
Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2 pm (arrive at the gate by 1:45
pm, drivers license and proof of insurance or car rental agreement
are required). Included are a guided museum tour, video presentation,
hanger tour and a close-up view of a Thunderbird F-16s which
train here from mid-November to mid-March.
